About this listen

Meet Lisa Hemminger, aka Professor Forever. The moniker Professor Forever emerged from the relationships Hemminger has made with her students over decades: always welcoming them to ask more questions, to visit her office, to go out to lunch or dinner or for coffee, to feel free to be wholly themselves and know they are safe, and, most particularly, to reach out for help or guidance…for the rest of their lives. Now retired from formal teaching in English, Creative Writing and Film Studies Departments, Professor Forever thrives on finding people of all ages who might need her help or want to discuss issues and ideas. She can’t imagine putting an end to providing guidance in whatever way she can. In fact, PF can also provide help in subjects other than academic. As you will note when you listen to the Professor Forever podcast, PF has experienced many adventures throughout her life–for example, being a drummer in a RockBand band, a performance poet, and a ghost hunter. Please join PF and others as they start this journey!© 2024 Thee Professor Forever Art Social Sciences
