In this episode of the Community Champions podcast, I discuss the concept of value in community engagement.

The true value in a free group lies in the individuals themselves, rather than just the content they provide.

Let'stalk about content labeled as "value content," which typically consists of informative tips and resources, often lacks interaction and engagement.

What if fostering connections, relationships, and discussions within a community is the most valuable aspect.

Preferences have shifted over time, with people now seeking more authentic and personalized content rather than heavily planned and branded material. It's better to focus on being present, showcasing their personality, sharing real-time experiences, and actively participating in conversations to create a sense of connection and uniqueness.

Personal value cannot be easily replicated through generic content and suggests that community leaders should prioritize building relationships over simply providing information.
