    Good morning. Wisconsin. I'm Aaron Jolly. Step outside right now and you're feeling 41 degrees. A backdoor cold front snuck south overnight, pulling cooler air off Lake Michigan. Partly cloudy statewide, but here's where things flip. Down in Southeast Wisconsin, you'll hit 42 degrees today with north winds gusting to 30 miles an hour. Rain showers arrive after 5 P.M., then thunderstorms roll through between 7 P.M. and 10 P.M. — 90 percent chance. Patchy fog develops overnight, low around 34 degrees. Wednesday gets messy. Rain showers transition to sleet by midday, high near 36 degrees. As the sun sets. South Central Wisconsin warms up nicely — partly sunny with a high near 52 degrees. That's 10 degrees warmer than the southeast thanks to inland flow, while tonight, patchy fog and thunderstorms likely between 7 P.M. and 11 P.M., 80 percent rain chances, low around 32 degrees. Wednesday turns wintry fast, rain showers before 10 A.M., then snow showers and sleet move in. High near 37 degrees. Up in Northeast Wisconsin, you're starting cooler at 34 degrees, climbing to just 40 degrees this afternoon. A chance of rain showers between noon and 4 P.M, tonight's the tricky part. Rain transitions to a mix, then sleet and freezing rain develop between 3 A.M. and 5 A.M. — watch for icy conditions. Wednesday brings freezing rain and sleet before 8 A.M., then snow and freezing rain. High near 36 degrees. In Looking ahead, thursday brings sunshine and highs near 44 to 47 degrees statewide — a nice break. Another system arrives Thursday night with rain likely, turning to a rain-snow mix overnight. Friday stays unsettled with rain and snow before clearing by afternoon. The weekend? Keep an eye on Saturday night into Sunday. A potentially significant winter storm could bring accumulating snow across the entire state Sunday, with 2 to 8 inches possible in some areas. Still too early for exact totals, but this one's worth watching. Looking ahead. See you this afternoon.
