    Blockchain Careers was founded by Guy Allison who is originally from a marketing background but decided many years ago to set up his own recruitment company. After re-locating to Koh Phangan Thailand, he found a unique cryptocurrency community there, who asked him to find some roles for them. This is how Blockchain Careers was born.

    Blockchain Careers have in the past worked with many established and up-and-coming cryptocurrency ventures. In 2020 we secured our first De-Fi client in Hathor Network based in Brasil. Since then we have gone from strength to strength having on going contracts with blockchain and cryptocurrency projects globally.

    On the pod we chat to Guy about the rise of Web3 and where he sees the industry heading in the coming years. How is it changing the employment landscape and how are brands and marketing teams at those brands embracing the change.

    A south asian entrepreneur, Ipshita Kumar is Hype Partners’ VP of Brand Innovations, a leader within the industry, helping bring brands to market successfully in web3.

    Ipshita prides herself in possessing the perfect balance of EQ and IQ required to help brands triumph in Web3 and is passionate about making it accessible for everyone. She didn’t take a traditional route into the world of Web3 (if there is such a thing!). Ipshita started her career in the hospitality, tourism, and marketing industries before co-founding Lemonade: a multi chain platform for creators to build web3 communities with IRL utilities and rewards.

    Having worked with brands like Bacardi, Unfinished, Diffusion by Outlier Ventures, Ritz Carlton, Marriott International, Atlantis The Palm Dubai, BreadStreetKitchen by Gordon Ramsay; Ipshita’s previous experiences have made her a triple threat leader in Web3 with great marketing and operational skills alongside the prerequisite of tech understanding.

    Ipshita is also a member of Unstoppable Domain’s Speaker’s Bureau & has been a speaker at Zebu London Live, Allbright Women, Ripple, Metaweek, WOW Summit, Career Con and Diffusion Digital. Ipshita is a web3 guest lecturer in the hospitality and tourism industry for Dubai Tourism College and Les Roches International Global Alumni association helping hospitality professionals upskill in web3.

    She has previously been featured in Hackerthon, USInsider and Figment.

    Ipshita is currently devoting her personal time working with All bright Women and Ripple to make web3 more accessible to women through their learning modules.
