  • 7. Presence Over Productivity: A Christmas Week Reset for Christian Moms
    Dec 22 2025

If you’re anything like me, presence doesn’t come naturally — productivity does.

During the holidays especially, my instinct is to fix, plan, research, and optimize. But I’ve realized that constantly doingcan quietly pull me away from the moments that matter most.

In this episode, I’m sharing why presence feels so hard for me, and the simple, tangible things I’m doing this Christmas week to choose presence over productivity — imperfectly, but intentionally.

Nothing fancy. Just real-life shifts that are creating more peace, connection, and togetherness in our home.

    • Why presence can feel uncomfortable or anxiety-producing
    • How productivity can become a coping mechanism
    • The phone boundary I’m using this week
    • Simple, low-stress ideas to create connection
    • How we’re prioritizing marriage and rest

  • 6. How to Craft a Vision Statement That Will Transform Your Life as a Christian Mom (Vision Part 2)
    Dec 15 2025

This episode is Part 2 of our vision series — and this is the step that makes everything practical, simple, and part of your real everyday life.

In Part 1 (the previous episode), you wrote the full, expanded vision for your life as a Christian mom — the detailed picture of who you want to become, how you want to feel, and what you want your daily experience to look like.

Today, we’re taking that long-form vision and turning it into a short, powerful, 1–2 sentence vision statement you can actually use every single morning.

This is the statement that becomes the heartbeat of your morning routine (Episode 4) — the thing that helps you stay grounded, focused, emotionally steady, and aligned with the woman you’re becoming.

If you want a vision practice that’s sustainable, doable, and transformational, this is the episode that will teach you exactly how to create it.

    • How to take your longer vision and pull out the core themes

    • How to identify the 3 “power words” that reflect who you’re becoming

    • Why certain words motivate you and others feel triggering or heavy

    • How to use ChatGPT (yes, really) to refine your language and identity traits

    • How to write a 1–2 sentence vision statement in present, positive, personal language

    • How to use your statement daily to support emotional steadiness, clarity, and purpose

    • How this one small practice helps shift your mindset and identity over time

This is the step that makes vision livable, not just inspirational.

You’ll walk through these steps inside the episode:

    1. Revisit your full vision
Look for repeating themes and the areas most important to you right now.

    2. Identify your 3 “power words”
Choose identity traits that make you feel motivated, grounded, or excited — not corrected or ashamed.

    3. Use AI (optional) to expand your language
Get clearer, more descriptive identity phrases that actually resonate.

    4. Write your 1–2 sentence statement
Present tense. Personal. Positive. Short enough to memorize. This becomes the anchor you start your day with.

    5. Put it somewhere you’ll see every day
Mirror, journal, phone, planner — anywhere you can’t ignore it.

    Your short vision statement helps:

    • calm emotional reactivity

    • activate the logical, grounded part of your brain

    • reinforce identity-based change

    • rewire your brain through repetition

    • keep you focused on where you're going — not where you’ve been

It’s the bridge between who you are and who you’re becoming.

If you missed the previous episode, go back and write your full vision first — everything in today’s episode builds on that work.

  • 5. How to Use the Power of Vision Every Day as a Christian Mom
    Dec 8 2025

If you’ve been feeling stuck in motherhood — overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, and frustrated by the constant cycle of reacting to life instead of actually living it — this episode is going to feel like a breath of fresh air.

Today, we’re talking about vision: what you actually want your daily life, motherhood, marriage, faith, and emotional world to look like. Not the Pinterest version, not the “someday when life is perfect” dream — but the grounded, real, life-giving vision you want to step into now.

I’ll walk you through my own story of losing myself in the thick of motherhood, how I shifted from focusing on everything I didn’t want to building a clear, hope-filled vision for who I wanted to become, and why that one shift changed everything for me.

    We’ll dig into:

    • why vision matters for moms who feel stuck or overwhelmed

    • the Biblical foundation for writing your vision (yes, it’s actually scriptural)

    • the neuroscience behind why writing things down helps you change

    • practical vision categories to help you get clear on what you want

    • the simple, non-intimidating process I use to write my own vision

    • a short envisioning exercise to help you loosen that survival-mode grip and dream again

And listen — you do NOT need to be a “dreamer” or “creative writer” to do this. You just need a few intentional minutes and some honesty.

If you’re tired of feeling reactive, frustrated, or lost, this episode will help you take your very first step toward getting unstuck and reconnecting with who God made you to be.

You can write about all of these or choose one or two that feel the most important right now:

    • Faith + spiritual life

    • Marriage + intimacy

    • Motherhood + parenting

    • Friendships + community

    • Health + energy + emotional well-being

    • Home atmosphere

    • Hobbies, creativity, and passions

    • Finances + stewardship

    • Purpose, calling, and impact

    Ask yourself:

    • If anything was possible in this area, what would I want?

    • What would I want to think in this area?

    • How would I want to feel on a daily basis?

    • What would I be doing differently?

    • What would I experience in a normal day of living this vision?

    • What would a “great day” look like if I were already this version of myself?

    • How would I show up with my kids? My spouse? Myself?

You can journal these in present tense to help your mind start internalizing it: “I am…” “I have…” “I show up as…” “My home feels…” “My days look like…”
