About this listen
Beloved BBC and Crimewatch presenter Jill Dando was gunned down in front of her home in 2000, in the middle of the day during an unplanned stop. The perpetrator managed to blend in to the environment and completed the killing with one shot to the head. There was no CCTV footage of this individual stalking or following Jill, or outside of her flat. The crime still remains unsolved, despite the arrest and conviction of Barry George, who had his guilty verdict overturned. Tips come in that point towards a potential IRA or Serbian hitman.
