Instead of meditating to feel peace, we meditate to become “magnetic.” Instead of writing gratitude lists to actually immerse in appreciation, we do it because we think it’ll speed up our desires arriving. Without meaning to, we start interacting with The Universe purely to get something out of it.

Because spirituality and manifestation aren’t about performance. They’re about presence. They’re about returning to yourself, experiencing your practices for the genuine rewards they bring, and reconnecting with the energy that holds you through it all.

    So what are core values, really? They’re not just cheesy buzzwords from school posters or corporate mission statements. They’re the personal, non-negotiable truths that guide the way you live. Think of them as the compass that keeps you on track when life feels overwhelming, distracting, or uncertain. Without them, you risk drifting through life on autopilot—reacting instead of intentionally creating. With them, you can filter decisions, attract aligned manifestations, and build a life that actually feels good from the inside out.

  • 79. Stop Trying So Hard: Dissolving Resistance in Manifestation

    This week on The Universe Is Your Friend, we’re talking about something that quietly holds so many of us back in manifestation: resistance. It’s the invisible parking brake that keeps us stuck, no matter how hard we press on the gas.

    Recently, I’ve been diving deep into EFT tapping, spending almost an hour a day clearing blocks I didn’t even know I had. And babes… the shifts have been insane. Without even consciously working on certain limiting beliefs, I’ve found entire thought patterns dissolve—suddenly making me open to new opportunities that once felt impossible. This really showed me how much of our manifestation struggles come not from “not working hard enough,” but from the resistance we’re carrying.

    In this episode, I share an analogy I heard while tapping along to a “Tap with Brad” video that stopped me in my tracks: trying to manifest while holding resistance is like driving with the parking brake on. Most of us think the answer is to push harder, hustle more, or do more rituals—but the truth is, we could actually get where we want to go with less effort, if we simply released the resistance.

    And this doesn’t just apply to taking physical action. So many of us are unconsciously “working hard” to manifest—journaling obsessively, meditating for hours, desperately trying to “surrender.” But that energy of trying, straining, and needing? That’s resistance disguised as alignment. It repels the very thing we’re calling in.

    Resistance shows up in two main ways:

    • Unconscious resistance: limiting beliefs and old programming (like “money is unsafe,” “love leads to pain,” or “I’m not worthy”) that block desires from reaching us.
    • Conscious resistance: the obvious frustration, tension, and control we feel when we can’t accept things as they are (like checking your phone every 3 minutes for a text, or spiraling when things don’t happen fast enough).

    The key isn’t to do more. It’s to notice where we’re resisting and dissolve it. In this episode, I’ll walk you through:

    • How to spot resistance in both its unconscious and conscious forms
    • Why resistance makes us work harder than necessary—and often ends up pushing our desires further away
    • How EFT tapping, affirmations, self-awareness and reprogramming can dissolve old blocks
    • The simple steps to shift from resistance into allowing

    When you learn to release resistance, manifestation becomes so much easier. You don’t need to scream your desires at the Universe—you can whisper, trust, and receive. The work you do take feels inspired, potent, and powerful, because it’s no longer fighting against a wall of hidden blocks.

    Resistance isn’t proof that you’re unworthy or failing—it’s just old programming running the show. And once you learn how to turn that parking brake off, you’ll be amazed at how naturally your manifestations begin to flow in.

    This week’s episode of The Universe Is Your Friend dives into a topic that’s been on my mind ever since I shared my episode about delusional manifesting. If you’ve been around manifestation content for a while, you know this concept sparks a LOT of opinions. People either swear by it like it’s the holy grail, or drag it like it’s the most toxic mindset of all time.

    Here’s the thing: delusional manifesting isn’t inherently good or bad. It’s simply a tool. And like any tool, it works differently depending on who’s holding it. The people who thrive with it are usually deeply self-aware, emotionally resilient, and consistent in their beliefs. The ones who struggle with it — myself included at times — often forget that living in the end isn’t just a one-time decision. It’s a daily choice.

    So what is delusional manifesting? At its core, it’s about believing in your bones that your desire is already yours. It’s acting, speaking, thinking, and living from the version of you who already has what you want. It’s creating such a strong sense of certainty, that when your manifestation arrives, you think: of course this happened.

    But here’s the catch most people don’t talk about: being delusional in this way requires a fortress of unwavering belief. You have to stand strong in your faith, especially when your 3D reality shows you the opposite.

    If you take anything from this episode, let it be this: you’ll have moments where you’re sure your manifestation is about to land, and then it doesn’t. In those moments, you cannot flinch. You cannot spiral into disappointment and set up camp there. Yes, it’s okay to feel sad or frustrated. It’s okay to cry, journal, process. But once you’ve felt it? You have to get back on the horse and return to your belief.

    In this episode, I’ll guide you through those moments when your faith gets rocked, how to recognise desperation in your manifestation practice, and how to once again trust The Universe. I’ll share why it’s not about toxic positivity or ignoring your human emotions, but about allowing yourself to feel fully, then choosing to return to your belief with even greater strength.

    Because here’s the truth: people who manifest delusionally don’t have a secret gene that makes belief effortless. They just know this work requires daily, intentional commitment. Their job isn’t to control the how or the when — it’s to embody the version of themselves who already has it, no matter what.

    Because the truth is: delusional manifesting can change your life. But only if you understand how to hold the belief and keep going when it feels impossible.

    Tell me, do you ever feel like manifestation advice makes sense in theory, but when you try to actually embody it, your mind wanders, your doubts flare up, and you slip back into your old reality?

    Today we’re diving into one of the deepest truths of manifesting anything you want—whether it’s a free coffee, a life upgrade, or your million-dollar dream—and that truth is this:

    You have to already be your desire—in your mind, your body, your beliefs, your entire energy system.

    That level of embodiment is so powerful that your manifestation doesn’t just feel possible—it feels inevitable. Today I break down exactly what it means to live in that energy, how I recently applied it to one of my biggest upcoming manifestations (weeks away from arrival), and why most people unknowingly sabotage themselves because they never fully commit to their desired reality in advance.

    You’ve heard it before, right? “Feel it before you see it,” “act as if,” “live in the end,” and so on. But it never truly clicked—maybe because you focused too much on the technique instead of actually shifting your energy. After all:

    • How do you ignore your current reality when it's still right in front of you?
    • How do you “act as if” when your bank account doesn’t reflect it?
    • How do you stay steady when your mind drifts into doubt?

    These questions used to exhaust me. I’d try to craft the perfect visualisation routine but it never stuck—because I wasn’t prepared energetically to embody those beliefs deeply enough.

    Recently I had a breakthrough: I decided I wanted this desire so badly that I fully invested in living it now—emotionally, mentally, spiritually—before it showed up externally. I spent a dedicated hour EFT tapping while vividly imagining every single detail of what life would look like after manifesting. I pictured months of my future reality:

    • Waking up in a new space
    • Moving differently in my body
    • Buying differently, speaking differently, thinking differently
    • Feeling differently, because so many of my current worries would finally be solved

    Once this became inevitable in my mind, the possibility of it not happening felt bizarre. Doubt had nowhere to cling... and when you feel that your desire is the next logical thing to happen? That's when your manifestation is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!
