When I applied to college, I applied to a lot of schools and only got accepted into two. This was most likely because of my grades in High School, but I do feel like God was pointing me to a place where I could grow in Him the most. In today’s message, Pastor Ken says you’re accepted by God, and you’re free from the bondage of sin through His Son’s blood. It’s because of Jesus that you’re free. God loved you so much that He sent His Son as a sacrifice so you could have eternity with Him!

If you’ve ever used a GPS, you know that if you go off the route, it reroutes you to a new direction and tries to get you to your destination. If you’re like me, you fight the GPS and think you know better, but in the end, it always takes longer than it should to get to the destination. In today’s message, Pastor Ken says Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Him! When you choose other things, God points you back to grace and brings you back to Him.

Have you ever felt like your failures are so big that God couldn’t possibly take you back? Today, Pastor Ken walks straight into that fear with Israel’s desperate question: after blowing it this badly, what can we do to fix things with God? Their first answers expose total spiritual ignorance, offering bigger sacrifices, rivers of oil, even their own children, anything but the one thing He actually wants. You can’t fix the relationship by “doing more.” He wants a heart that walks humbly wherever He guides it.
