The word Contending I believe is a now word for the Body of Christ imperative for advancing the Kingdom of God in this hour of instability. God has been awakening our spirits to rise up to contend for our breakthrough, for the dreams He has given us, for our families, for communities, cities, and nations, and for His will and purposes to come forth.

All the signs are pointing to the truth that we are THE LAST-DAY GENERATION and THE LAST-DAY ARMY OF GOD—the Vanguard that pierces the darkness and breaks open the doors to the kingdom reign of God on earth!

God charged the First Generation of warriors, His First Army, to go, conquer, and occupy the Promised Land for the Kingdom of God—ultimately to carry the Ark of His Presence up to the prepared Throne in Jerusalem. We are now re-enacting this procession!

What is God saying regarding Giants in the Land, and of the conquest of Egypt and Pharoah? These topics appear to relate to our present time prophetically as they have been coming up often in the prophetic arena (If you haven’t already, please read my Dream of Giants in the Land). When God moved His people to possess the Promised Land, scripture shows that there were giants in the land. Could this be happening again today? We are looking at these things in the context of the Issachar anointing who: had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do!
