  • Rerun of Episode 8 - Men's Mental Health
    Jun 16 2025

In honor of men's mental health month, we are doing a rerun of our men's mental health episode.

Hello and welcome to The Therapy Room!

On today's episode, we are joined by Blaise Harris, you may know him as "The Dope Black Therapist" on social media or from his podcast. Blaise is an EMDR-certified therapist who delivers trauma focussed care to his clients. He has a passion for working with BIPOC populations and first responders. Blaise runs a periodical virtual men's support group and will be hosting The Black Father's Summit in North Carolina in August. Blaise has a passion for working in men's mental health, and since Father's Day is right around the corner and June is men's mental health month, that's what we're going to be talking about! We're going to discuss some facts and myths about men's mental health, which will really drive home why discussing men's mental health is such an important topic. So grab a coffee and get comfy, and welcome to The Therapy Room.
