We also discussed a hypothetical situation in which you could potentially win $100 million or go to jail for a year? Interested to hear our thoughts?

Scottish Open this week, the premier event loaded with big names who are getting ready for the Open Championship next week. Who will come out on top and make moves before the last major of the year?

    Welcome to the Tribe!

We are a group of Florida State University alumni who decided to take our group text and turn it into this podcast. Week in and week out we discuss all things golf from PGA Tour events to our own personal experiences.

Episode 12 starts off by recapping the heartbreak of watching Tommy Fleetwood come so close to his first PGA Tour win with the excitement of watching our fearless captain, Keegan Bradley, take home the W! What does this mean for the Ryder Cup? Will he be the first player captain in over 60 years?

We also recap the KPMG Womens PGA over at PGA Frisco and how they have issues with pace of play. A 6 hour round for a 2 ball should not happen.

We go over the current standings for our Race for the Spear bets and how we are ever so close to hitting our Tribe Bet. Max Homa, you owe us!

  • Episode 10: U.S. Open at Oakmont
    Jun 10 2025
    Welcome to the Tribe!

We are a group of Florida State University alumni who decided to take our group text and turn it into this podcast. Week in and week out we discuss all things golf from PGA Tour events to our own personal experiences.

Episode 10 starts off with a recap of the RBC Canadian Open which featured an extra 4 holes of golf with Ryan Fox and Sam Burns. We discussed Rory's worst career finish and what impact that may have on him heading into US Open.

Speaking of US Open, we are all looking forward for the best players in the world to fight for pars on a 289 Par 3 or two Par 5s both playing over 600 yards. Mix that with rough at 5 inches and green speeds of at least 14.5, this week should be exciting!

  • Episode 9: RBC Canadian Open + Pinehurst Trip Review
    Jun 3 2025
    Welcome to the Tribe!

We are a group of Florida State University alumni who decided to take our group text and turn it into this podcast. Week in and week out we discuss all things golf from PGA Tour events to our own personal experiences.

Episode 9 may be our best one yet! The Memorial tournament saw Scottie Scheffler win yet again while Jack throws shade at some of the PGA Tour players that were in contention against Scottie. We discuss "Golfs Longest Day" with final qualifying taking place throughout the country to secure a spot into the US Open at Oakmont in a few weeks.
Our favorite part of this episode was giving our thoughts on our recent trip to the Pinehurst, NC area. We got to play some great golf courses such as Talamore Resort, Tot Hill Farms, Mid Pines, and Pinehurst #8. Which one was our favorite? Which one left a lot to be desired?

And of course, we finished off this episode discussing the RBC Canadian Open, a warm up for some before the US Open or a last ditch effort to qualify for the US Open.

We run it back with our Tribe Bet, after going 2/3 last week in it. And Eric takes a lead in the Race for the Spear as he was the only one to hit his bet last week.

Quote of the Episode: "Take that golf trip with the boys"

Episode 8 gives a shout out to both FSU Men's and Women's golf teams for a fantastic year representing the Garnet and Gold. We also talk about PGA Tour pace of play, Rory not giving Jack a courtesy call, and preview the Tribe's trip to Pinehurst this weekend!

Big question on the pod this week was, "How do you fix the slow pace of play on tour?"

Our picks have been terrible, but we keep moving forward. Another set of picks are in!
