About this listen

In this episode, we discuss the Supreme Court Case Arizona v. Navajo Nation, 2023, and how the Supreme Court is reinforcing centuries of state-imposed violence on the Navajo Nation by their ruling. In short, the Court ruled that the US Government has no duty to provide water to the Navajo Nation, despite the reservation facing an active humanitarian crisis. The Navajo Nation is as large as the State of West Virginia and has a population of roughly 174,000 people. This podcast is dedicating to deconstructing the Supreme Court's arguments, and solidifying the need for the US Government o provide reparations to indigenous communities, including providing water infrastructure.
