About this listen

I've been making super indie films for over 10 years and I have some thoughts. Also, I want to talk about how hard everything seems to be lately and yet all I see on social media is how great everything is. I want to talk about failure and overcoming it. Also, I might have some tips OR if you do, drop me a line and come chat with me. Basically, life is brutal BUT people are what makes it worth living.Stefanie Kay Sparks Art

  • The Struggle Is Reel | 2 Films That Got Me Through Last Week
    Feb 14 2025

I watched 3 great films last week but I only spoke about two of them on this new episode of The Struggle Is Reel. The films are called Crossing (Levan Akin) and Do Not Expect Too Much From The End Of The World (Radu Jude). Mubi was running a deal. : )The 3rd film that I loved but didn't discuss is called In The Rearview (Maciek Hamela). Maybe I'll talk about it next time. Thank you for listening!
