Jon Roesser, General Manager of Weavers Way, shares the story of how a group of neighbors from the Mt. Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia, opened Weaver's Way Co-op in 1973.
The Pandemic showed us the fragility of the conventional food system of this country. And almost 50 years after Weavers Way opened, there is still more work to be done: taking care of ourselves, our family and our community starts with prioritizing our local food system.
