Synopsis – AuthorInterview of Dashiell Hammett

Our AuthorInterview of Dashiell Hammett shows him as a true Knight of the Golden Age of Detective Writing, and his works will endure in spite of the many hardships his life brought him. Tuberculosis, alcohol addiction and some drug addiction took atoll on his physical body, yet he survived to write seven novels and numerous short stories which were published in current magazines at that time. His Sam Spade, the Continental OP, and others were used in radio shows, and films.
