The Master of Tumbao) and Matilde Andera ‘La Nena’ Bassler). These lyrics were (allegedly) intended to become a piece of musical theatre about the modern history of Villalibre and the shameful secret of its One-eyed Lord: La Nena’s own father Leopoldo Bassler: who used to be (almost) universally cherished as the Mayor Progress.
