    The Bloodbash is a two night music fest put together by ourselves and Resist The Throne in support of and raising money for The Canadian Blood Services.  The boys from Resist the Throne will be joined on stage by Complicit, The Scarecrowz, Ultimus, and Wyntr.

    It's the start of a new season.  And season 5 of the podcast is a bit of a special one as it is also the 25th anniversary of when we met and subsequently dated and pretty much the reason this podcast exists. 
    So we start things pff this year letting you know what to expect from this season and how the 1999 will be integral and a big part of this season. 
    We then continue with our trend of starting each season off with out anti-Valentines Day narrative and we go back to 1999 to talk about and review the first movie we ever to see togther, Cruel Intentions.  Does it stand up 25 years later?  Give a listen to find out.

    In this extra special episode of the podcast, we got the chance to interview the charismatic and charming Charlie Kerr, lead singer of Hotel Mira, who are currently in the last legs of a cross-Canada tour in support of their new album, “I Am Not Myself”.  A tour that finishes up right here in Ottawa at The SAW Gallery on Feb 18th. 

    We talk to Charlie about some highlights and awesome moments from the tour, the new album, with its wonderful blend of catchy beats and introspective lyrics, and the connection people make through music and other mediums.  

    We even take some time to delve into some pop culture shenanigans with Charlie talking about unapologetic love of cinema and other arts, the nonsense of toxic fandom, and he takes us behind the scenes on a few of the tv sets he’s had the pleasure of working on.
