  • SAY IT INTO MY MOUTH : AN INTERVIEW WITH DR. H.L. HIX
    May 11 2023

One of the things I am trying to do with this podcast is to profile other avante-garde poets, composers, musicians and artists. Today, I spotlight Dr. H.L. Hix. Dr. Hix is a remarkably talented and well-published poet and philosopher.

I recently met with Dr. Hix about his soon-to-be-released book "Say It Into Mouth" which combines content as diverse as the ancient philosophy of Heraclitus, the more modern philosophy of Ludwig Wittgenstein and the modern poetry of Leslie Scallopino.

This podcast is the audio version of our discussion. I will also be posting the video version of this interview on my YouTube Channel very soon. The link to my YouTube Channel as well as Dr. Hix' website are shown below. Thanks for listening!

  • LET X EQUAL 1 | VISUAL POEM
    Apr 11 2023

    Thanks for listening!!!

Let X Equal 1 is the audio version of a visual poem I created and published on the my YouTube channel shown below. I have also added some additional audio content as the ending commentary within this audio version.

Let X Equal 1 is a paradoxical, math-related poem superimposed over a parallel visual story. It attempts to illustrate the isolation caused by childhood and teenage bullying and the often impossible solutions to this perennial social problem.

All poetry, voices and music was created by Gil Rosado All video collages were compiled and edited by Gil Rosado Please don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel and to my podcast. The links are below or just search for "The Poetry Universe" using your favorite podcast app.

  • MR. EITHER/OR - AN INTERVIEW WITH AARON POOCHIGIAN
    Mar 21 2023

Aaron Poochigian is an extradordinary, avant-garde poet and translator with numerous books published by Etruscan Press. Although steeped in the classics, his 2017 hybrid verse-novel "Mr. Either/Or" and it's soon to be release sequel "Mr Either/Or: All the Rage" represent a revolution in this genre and I had the great opportunity to speak with Aaron on these and some of his other works within this recording.

A video version of this podcast will appear soon on my YouTube channel as well. The related links are listed below:
