    Good morning. Pennsylvania. I'm Aaron Jolly. Step outside and you'll feel something wild, it's 78 degrees in Philadelphia right now. That's May weather showing up two months early. We're running 30 degrees above normal across the entire state, the kind of warmth that makes you question your calendar. Some patchy fog near the coast burns off by 9 A.M., then sunshine takes over. Philadelphia hits 78. Central Pennsylvania reaches 76, pittsburgh starts cloudier but climbs to 72 by afternoon. Light southwest winds keep things comfortable. As the sun sets. Tonight stays mild. Lows in the low to mid 50s statewide. Partly cloudy skies. The warmth hangs on. Wednesday brings more record heat — mid 70s again — but the story shifts by evening. A strong cold front barrels in from the west with showers and thunderstorms. Some storms could turn severe Wednesday night, especially across western and central Pennsylvania. Damaging winds and isolated tornadoes are possible. The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Slight Risk for much of the state. Temperature-wise. Thursday morning, that front clears out and temperatures crash, highs only reach the upper 40s to near 60. Rain showers change to snow in western Pennsylvania. Northwest winds gust to 30 miles an hour, making it feel even colder. Looking ahead. Looking at the week ahead. Friday stays chilly — highs in the 50s — with partly sunny skies and breezy conditions. Saturday and Sunday bring a gradual warm up back into the 50s and low 60s. Mostly cloudy skies with a chance of showers returning late Sunday into Monday. Enjoy this spring preview today.
