The year 1984 marked the beginning of a boom period where pro wrestling engulfed our society. From clothes to lunch boxes to video games & toys, pro wrestling was everywhere. This past weekend saw the WWE present a historic two-night SummerSlam event. On PVDcast #489, DJ Joey Blayze (one-half of The Pro Wrestling Pundits) joins me to analyze this event. Many veterans of the United States military suffer from PTSD. On this episode of The PVDcast, filmmaker Carissa Pierson joins me to talk about her new film, A Soldier’s Descent. On the surface, this film appears to be a typical horror flick. But there is a subtle discussion about PTSD to go along with all of the scares.
