The Gift of Music and Song is an intimate account that engages monumental Jamaican Women Writers in the context of anti-colonial and anti-misogyny praxis in the country and the politics of Jamaican women in literature, research and publishing. This beautiful collection features interviews with Olive Senior, Lorna Goodison, Marcia Douglas, Hazel Campbell, Velma Pollard and many more.
