The somber landscape of Good Friday is the perfect backdrop to start our discussion of shame: today we not only hear about Jesus' horrific death—we hear about how our sin is the reason for it, thus making our unworthiness central to the Christian experience.

As we observe this holy day in the church, do we have room to start examining the foundations of shame in our faith?

In this podcast, we’ll dive into how shame dominates so much of the experience of faith, and how it’s done some real damage to real people.
