    Apr 2 2026

Nick and Lachie return to the pod, joining Ivka for a huge review of Round 7 of the NPL Victoria season.

Hume City continue their incredible run of form with their most impressive win yet over an injury-hit Preston Lions. Are Hume starting to prove all the doubters wrong?

South Melbourne bounced back with a resounding 4-2 win over last year's Grand Finalists Dandenong City in a game which may have had the celebration of the season. How will South balance their next lot of OFC Pro League fixtures and is the pressure rising on Dandy?

And Bentleigh secured yet another impressive win, continuing a very solid stretch.

  • NPL VICTORIA R6 | David Chick sacked | Preston edge Avondale grudge match | Dinamo STUN Heidelberg
    Mar 25 2026

Josh & Ivka are holding down the fort once again this week, but there's more than enough storylines to keep us occupied.

Green Gully have finally parted ways with their head coach following a disastrous 4-0 defeat to Bentleigh Greens on Friday night. Where to now for the Cavaliers in their battle against relegation?

Preston Lions and Avondale battled it out in an engaging, seesawing contest at BT Connor, with Zoran Markovski and several of his players tasted victory against their former club at the first time of asking. But with an injury crisis looming for Preston in defence, could it all be set to unravel?

And St Albans Dinamo summed up the word of the week - "boucebackability" - in their surprise comeback over Heidelberg. Has Cam Watson found a winning formula?

Plus, there's cherry pickers, interrupted travel plans, and an impact sub proving a point to his manager.

    00:01:30 - Bentleigh 4-0 Green Gully

    00:21:40 - Preston 2-1 Avondale

    00:41:43 - Dinamo 2-1 Heidelberg

    00:52:10 - Dandenong Thunder 3-0 South Melbourne

    00:56:35 - Oakleigh 2-1 George Cross

    01:03:45 - Melbourne City 1-1 Altona Magic

    01:09:25 - Dandenong City 1-1 Hume City

  • NPL VICTORIA R5 | Brilliant Bergers sweep Oakleigh aside | 2nd-string South spark Gully crisis | Siciliano silences the doubters
    Mar 18 2026

Josh & Ivka review Heidelberg's comprehensive dismantling of Oakleigh, taking just 32 minutes to stick three goals past the hosts at Jack Edwards Reserve. Have the Bergers made up for their offseason departures? And where did Chris Taylor's men come unstuck?

Elsewhere, Green Gully are in full-blown crisis after losing to a side largely made of South Melbourne's U23s. How long does David Chick have left in the dugout? And how have South and Sinisa topped the table amidst their OFC fixture congestion?

Over at BT Connor, a goalkeeping masterclass from Christian Siciliano denies Preston all three points, despite the Lions laying siege to the George Cross goal in the second half. But will the podcast's own cantankerous former goalkeeper begrudge him any credit?

Plus, there's another cement mixer sighting, fences falling over at Somers Street, and the NPL's foremost shithouser is unmasked.

    0:00:00 - Oakleigh 2-3 Heidelberg

    0:10:36 - Green Gully 0-1 South Melbourne

    0:26:48 - Preston Lions 1-1 George Cross

    0:36:02 - Avondale 4-1 Dandy City

    0:44:43 - Hume City 3-1 Dandy Thunder

    0:49:54 - Melbourne City 5-0 Dinamo

    0:57:30 - Altona 0-2 Bentleigh

    1:01:28 - VPL1 & VPL2 Round-up
