About this listen

Most people are baffled at any idea that fairies could exist...and telling people you've had a fairy encounter is a major taboo. The Modern Fairy Sightings Podcast hears from people who’ve had experiences and want to share them. Whether you’re already a believer, or full of intrigue, come open-minded and open-hearted…simply listen, and make your own mind up. But take heed, these are not winged Tinkerbells. These are real fairies. Please note: this podcast is not suitable for children as it may contain some unsettling, frightening or creepy material from time to time. • Ep 120: The Green Man of the Forest (Part One)
    Dec 7 2025
I speak to Jessica in Oxfordshire who has had a number of encounters including a brownie. Her story begins with meeting a handsome Otherworldly man, dressed completely in green in her local woods who she feels turned out to be Gwyn ap Nudd. It sent her on a journey to discover her ancestry as connected to one of the 'Families of the 'Old North'. The quest entirely transformed the way she lives her life. This is part one of two episodes. ⭐️ JOIN THE MODERN FAIRY SIGHTINGS COMMUNITY ⭐️ https://www.patreon.com/c/themodernfairysightingspodcast/membership If you're looking for exclusive bonus material, monthly zoom chats with like-minded folks, access to the Discord chat channels, quiet meditation gatherings and meeting other members, join us at: https://www.patreon.com/c/themodernfairysightingspodcast/membership S U P P O R T If you’d prefer to support the Modern Fairy Sightings with a one off donation, you can ‘buy me a coffee’ and I’d be very grateful 🙂 https://buymeacoffee.com/modfairysight Or send a one-off donation to PayPal at https://paypal.me/modernfairysightings/ M E R C H !
