  • 102225 ~ Ann Arbor's Plans to Change Zoning Laws - Tom Stulberg
    Oct 22 2025
October 22, 2025 ~ Lucy Ann Lance is joined by Tom Stulberg, Ann Arbor Lower Town Resident / Real Estate Professional. The Ann Arbor Comprehensive Land Use Plan (Draft 3), is now in the final phase for the public to review and submit comment. The plan will outline the city’s future vision and priorities to guide development to 2050. The plan would allow three-story, three-unit condo and apartment buildings in established neighborhoods of traditional single-family homes. It also includes plans for higher-density development downtown and along key corridors, like Washtenaw Avenue and Stadium Blvd. Concerns have been mounting as to how this would change Ann Arbor, with detractors saying it'll increase housing costs while supporters say the changes are necessary to make living in Ann Arbor more accessible to all.
