The Life of a Navy Fighter Pilot

  • Summary

  • The first time we hung out, Wingnut showed me footage of bombs he’d dropped on an ISIS mortar team that was shelling fleeing women and children from a village.

Obviously, he’s a U.S. Navy fighter pilot.  But more than that, he’s one of the sweetest, most thoughtful guys I’ve met.

And I’ve always wanted to know, what is it like being a fighter pilot? The training.  Landing on a carrier for the first time.  What’s it like to break the sound barrier?  What’s it like to drop bombs on human beings?

So we got together and I asked him my questions.  Like many in the military, he’s also a great storyteller.  I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
