Welcome to the level of life podcast I’m your host, Scottie Hobbs where we are here to remind you that your family is your most important work, help you feel better, and learn how to make more income for your family. I am here with my friend Dr Alan Jones. Alan Jones holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Health Sciences with a focus on Nutritional Biochemistry and Human Performance. He also earned a Master of Science in Human Nutrition with a specialty in Nutritional Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. His expertise centers on Sarcopenia, and related chronic diseases worsened by age-related loss of muscle quality, mass, function, and strength. As a specialist in extending healthspan, Jones is passionate about educating the public on the detrimental effects of muscle loss on metabolic health, longevity, functional independence, and quality of life.

Over his 33-year career in health, wellness, and pharmaceuticals, Jones has held numerous positions, including his most recent role as CEO of a large pharmaceutical manufacturing and drug development company based in Fort Worth, Texas. Jones is an expert in muscle physiology and sarcopenia prevention, as well as manufacturing operations, risk analysis, both qualitative and quantitative statistical analysis, critical evaluation, and new product development from conception to completion. As an industry leader, Jones demonstrates a strong ability to transform theoretical concepts into practical products that meet consumer needs. He is currently the VP of Research and Development at Make Wellness, supporting consumer education and product R&D.
