Sean shared his personal guitar journey, inspired by Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It," and discussed his experiences playing with various artists including Nelly Furtado and Lee Aaron. They explored the competitive landscape between guitar manufacturers during the 1980s, the influence of branding on guitar choice, and the technical innovations that shaped guitar design. The conversation also touched on the current state of guitar playing among younger musicians and the enduring appeal of 1980s rock recordings, particularly when experienced through vinyl and FM radio.
