About this listen

On today's episode of The Jack Berkovits Show, Jack touches on the plane crash in India, statistics, and how time heals more than therapy. He then shares two stories, one about how layoffs affect people's lives and how he's never terminated anyone to save money, and another story about how his dad refused to work on the Sabbath and got fired for that.

Later, Jack is joined by John Lott, an economist, author, and internationally recognized expert on guns and crime. Together they cover topics of DEI, how a police department is run, former US President Joe Biden and current US President Donald Trump, and the woke movement. Following this, Jack discusses the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, taking a weekend off for his son's wedding while they're at war and what this could mean.

Jack concludes his show with Todd Sheets, the author of the newsletter "On Wealth And Progress" on Substack and the book "2008: What Really Happened". Together they explore the housing crisis, the level of credit card debt and large mortgages people are carrying, the economy now compared to the economy in 2008, and if you should be buying or selling a house right now. This is a marvelous episode you're not going to want to miss!
