About this listen

A podcast from It Pays To Care, where we have the conversation about what’s fair and effective in work injury management and workers’ compensation.

Whether you're considering workers' compensation, you're on a claim or you are supporting someone who is, Series 1 has insights for you. Employers can also gain useful perspectives on how to best support workers after workplace injury.

Hosted by psychologist Sam Sellwood, Series One of The It Pays To Care Podcast takes a look at an issue that's more and more common in Australia in recent years: psychological injury in the workplace. This series follows the fictional but representative stories of Rachel, a teacher, and Jake, a supermarket worker, as they experience the psychological impacts of aggression at work.

Series 1 was supported by an investment from EML Group's Mutual Benefits Program and developed in collaboration with two unions: the SDA and the AEU's Tasmanian Branch.
