We are a small black woman owned business based in Marietta, GA. We whole-heartedly believe in putting utmost effort and love into our products. This builds and cultivates long lasting relationships and partnerships. Our brand is rooted in excellence and a deep appreciation for our ancestors achievements to educate. MyHBCUHome has uniquely designed products. Most pieces are handmade, and display our keen attention to detail. Understanding the culture and nuances of the historically black colleges and university community is key and we trust it shows in each piece we design and sell. This is what sets us apart from others. One of our best sellers is the 2 tone college pillow that is made of two different materials on either side and joined with handmade piping, or cording. We are most excited about the endless possibilities with our lines of pillows that celebrate the HBCU circle. Learn more about MyHBCUHome: www.myhbcuhome.comFollow them on Instagram: www.instagram.com/myhbcuhomeCheck out their Etsy: www.etsy.com/shop/myhbcuhomeFollow them on TikTok: www.tiktok.com/myhbcuhomeConnect with them on Facebook: www.facebook.com/myhbcuhomeEmail them: hi@myhbcuhome.com About MDJ Originals:Melvin Davis Jr is a Detroit native, photographer and audio engineer with an innate desire to share his global experiences through creative originals. With 25 plus years of media work and global travel, MDJ Originals was birthed from the myriad of original photographs taken all over the world. Several select photos were transferred to t-shirts and sweatshirts for men, women and children. In 2020, still “the Man Behind the Camera” and Alum of Clark Atlanta University, Davis envisioned rejuvenating the era of wearing the Letterman Jacket by creating a one of a kind for himself. What he didn’t anticipate was the positive movement it would create, the attention of other interested CAU Panthers, and supporters of all 107 HBCU schools.  Learn more about MDJ Originals: www.mdjoriginal.comFollow them on Instagram: www.instagram.com/mdjoriginaltConnect with them on Facebook: www.facebook.com/mdjoriginal About Lionel Felix & L. Felix Media:Born in Trinidad & Tobago, I am the oldest of seven brothers and sisters. I moved to Providence, RI when I was 10 years old to live with my dad, stepmom and younger brother. Growing up, I was always interested in electronics and music and because of that, I got into college radio. I started off as an on-air personality at WXIN, Rhode Island College Radio where I hosted several shows by myself and my two best friends. From 1996-1999, I was involved in radio as well as street and club promoting but also developed an interest for television production that led me to enroll at Clark Atlanta University in 2000. There, I studied Television Production and created a wonderful, wide network of friends and past alumni that helped me develop my skills. After graduation, I worked at WSB-TV in Atlanta, editing the morning and weekend news, then from there I worked in IT at The Art Institutes for 8 years. Now, I work at The NCR Corporation as part of their in-house multimedia team. With that diverse work background, I was able to meet more than a few interesting and accomplished individuals. So, when the pandemic forced us to be at home, I had a talk with my wife about my wanting to leverage my network of friends to start creating content for a podcast idea. She agreed on the idea and direction I had and from there my production imprint L. Felix Media was started. Connect with us!Visit our website: https://the-inside-out-podcast.simplecast.comFollow us on Instagram: www.instagram.com/inside_outpodcastFollow us on Twitter: www.twitter.com/LFelixMedia1Connect with us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/insideoutpodcasttStream ...
