    Episode 2 / Part II

More than 90% of seniors want to age in their own homes with dignity but getting the right type of care can seem daunting. Michele Veillon and Susan Amos of Senior Helpers Lafayette believe that getting the best care for your loved ones should not be complicated. They work day in and day out with people needing different types of care and they see firsthand how this can take a toll on their families and loved ones. Some folks aren’t prepared for the expenses that come with aging and need extra care. Whether they are able to stay home or they end up in an assisted living facility, the cost of unexpected medical, physical, or assistance needs can compound quickly and can be detrimental to a family’s assets. Michele and Susan sit with Randy and talk about their experiences and share what they have seen and learned from the other side. Legacies people have built for their families strained or lost, when there was another way. They share so that more people will be aware and prepare for the future to keep themselves and their families safe. There is no greater calling than to serve your fellow man. These ladies are living their legacies in servitude and advocacy for our elder generation.
