In this powerful episode, I sit down with Derby-based Christian artist NK The Rapper to talk about what it truly means to walk with God - especially when life doesn’t go according to plan.

NK shares how he went to university with the intention of studying a specific course, only to be met with rejection. What felt like disappointment at the time was actually divine redirection. As Scripture reminds us, “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps” (Proverbs 16:9). Through that unexpected turn, God began reshaping NK’s path and drawing him closer to Him.
What seemed like a closed door became alignment with purpose - echoing Romans 8:28, that “in all things God works for the good of those who love Him.”

Today, NK serves as a teacher, using both his profession and his music as ministry - pouring into young people and living out Matthew 5:16 by letting his light shine before others.
This episode is a powerful reminder that God’s plan is greater than our own, and obedience often leads us into purpose we never saw coming.
