Stephen Morin spent his life as a criminal. What started as a career in theft quickly turned to serial murder. He abducted, assaulted and killed women as he traveled throughout the country. Investigators estimate his victim count to be around forty people, but many of those murders are not well documented. When the police learned just how dangerous Stephen Morin was, they located him in a Texas motel room and the SWAT team surrounded the building but Stephen Morin escaped. He then abducted a housewife named Margy Palm from a nearby shopping center and over the course of the next few hours, she was able to talk Stephen Morin out of killing her. And then she told the police where he was headed
