    Anna Caywood Jones has lived a life shadowed by the unexplained. From an early age, strange and unsettling experiences followed her—paranormal encounters that she couldn't explain, let alone share. With no one to confide in, Anna carried these secrets alone for years, quietly studying and documenting what others dismissed as fantasy.

    Her journey eventually led her to one of the most infamous and unsettling places in the American South: the Land Between the Lakes (LBL). Known for its deep woods, hidden hollows, and a long history of eerie encounters, the LBL became Anna’s primary research ground. And it didn’t take long before it made its mark on her, too.

    One unforgettable night, Anna found herself driving down Trace Road. The moon hung low and orange in the sky, casting an unnatural glow across the forest. Animals—deer, raccoons, and others—were crossing the road in waves, as if fleeing from something. Then she saw it.

    On the edge of the tree line stood a creature unlike anything she had ever seen—Short, dark, and still. Its eyes glowed an intense red, not reflecting light, but seeming to radiate it from within. It watched her. Silent. Motionless. Unexplainable.

    To this day, Anna continues her research in the LBL, driven not by curiosity alone, but by a need for truth. What she saw that night still haunts her—but it also fuels her mission to bring these hidden truths into the light.

What unfolded over the next few years has stunned locals, baffled investigators, and drawn comparisons to the infamous Skinwalker Ranch in Utah. Could Wisconsin be home to its own paranormal hotspot?

    Lee Hampel wasn't a ghost hunter or conspiracy theorist. He simply wanted a place to enjoy retirement and raise cattle. But shortly after purchasing the property in 2007, Hampel found himself entangled in a chilling mystery that blurred the line between reality and folklore.
