Inaccurately dubbed the first female serial killer, Aileen Wuornos confessed do killing 7 men on the highways of Florida. Convicted of 6 murders, she was sentenced and ultimately put to death.
Aileen's life seemed doomed from the start. Her parents split before birth. Her father imprisoned for rape and kidnapping of a child and her mom abandoned her at the age of four. Left with her biological grandparents, her life continued to spiral. Prostitution, incest, pregnancy, alcoholism, homelessness, all before the age of 16.
