  • Rory and Scottie and Festivus 2025
    Dec 23 2025
It's time for our annual Festivus episode, where we celebrate the year that was, the year that is coming, and put in all in a box created by our favorite TV show, Seinfeld. Airing of Grievances: We've got problems about the last year, and we're going to let you know what they are! Like how people drive, how bad Team USA was in the Ryder Cup, and how expensive everything is. Great Feats of Strength: A lot of people did some strong things this year, and we shout out their accomplishments, like Rory completing the Grand Slam and Scottie winning two more majors. Festivus Miracles: We look forward to 2026 and predict what amazing things may happen, like Taylor's wedding going off without a hitch, or Tommy Fleetwood finally winning a major. And we finish, as always, with food and our fondest memories of the past year, including Michael's part of the journey of growth at Auspicious Bakery. Learn more about your ad choices. • LIV Rumors and Holiday Expert Brandi Milloy
    Dec 16 2025
Swirling rumors of whose in and whose out in LIV, the start of the college football playoffs, and our resident Holiday and Christmas expert Brandi Milloy returns. Rumors are swirling about Brooks Koepka's future at LIV, and who may be coming in to the rival tour. The Grant Thornton Invitational's winning duo included one golfer who has fulfilled the "modern grand-slam." Scottie Scheffler won another Player of the the Year Award, as if there was any doubt. The Korn Ferry's Q-School gave guys the their last chance to secure a TOUR card for 2026, and former guest Dylan Wu did just that in dramatic style. Hanukkah is here and Christmas is right around the corner as Alex and Michael are deep in the holidays now. In Tuned In, Michael is enjoying, yet is mildly annoyed, at the audiobook version of Dune, while Alex is flipping between the Taylor Swift Eras Tour documentary and the P. Diddy documentary. This week's guest is Brandi Milloy, returning to the podcast for the sixth time. Brandi shares updates for her year including trips to Germany and Prague, plus givers her annual tips for a successful Christmas including how to break the ice with the family. College football has entered its bowl season, and the first round of the college football playoffs begin this weekend. In the NFL, Alex's Patriots finally tally a loss, while the Chiefs aren't looking too hot with a season ending injury to Patrick Mahomes. Michael shares an amazing rebrand for the Madison Capitols hockey team, who for "Birds Aren't Real" night became the Surveillance Swans. As the guys #AlwaysEndWithFood, Alex is enjoying an amazing cheese steak, while Michael shares a review of the newest Italian eatery in Savannah, Lucia Pasta Bar. Learn more about your ad choices. • Tiger Woods on the Shorter PGA Schedule and Chef William Turner
    Dec 9 2025
Tiger talks about the potential new, shorter PGA TOUR, and Pheonix's Private Chef William Turner returns to the podcast. At the Hero World Challenge, Tiger Woods talked at length about the proposed changes and shortening of the PGA TOUR's schedule to 20 events. Alex and Michael share their thoughts and wonder when this could happen. On the golf course at the Hero, Hideki Matsuyama won in a playoff in the birdie fest in the Bahamas. The DP World Tour had two events this weekend, but it was Rory's odd shot off a fruit that caught the world at the Australian Open. This weekend's Grant Thornton Invitational is bringing together the best of the LPGA and the not best from the PGA TOUR in an event that isn't living up to its potential. December is here, which means shopping and winter markets and the last month of Michael's board game challenge. In Tuned In, Alex is excited that Fyre Festival Billy McFarland finally completed a festival, and Michael can't believe how much Netflix is paying to buy Warner Brothers. This week's guest is Chef William Turner, who returns to the post after first appearing five years ago. The private chef based in Pheonix, AZ, chats with Alex about how he brings his Low Country roots to the South West, how he's grown his business and the next steps for him as his popularity soars. The college football playoff bracket has arrived and the biggest surprise is Notre Dame, not just being absent, but deciding they don't want to play in any bowl games after being "snubbed." In the NFL, the Packers and Lions make gains, while the Chiefs are looking like a losing team. As the guys #AlwaysEndWithFood, Alex shares an "exciting" new additional to Boston's Logan Airport food hall, while Michael gives an update on the diet during the hardest time of the year to be on a diet.
