• Urantia Paper 14—The Central and Divine Universe—§6. The Purpose of the Central Universe
    May 13 2025
This week on THE COSMIC CITIZEN we finished our study of Urantia Paper 14. THE CENTRAL AND DIVINE UNIVERSE, with a reading of Section 6. THE PURPOSE OF THE CENTAL UNIVERSE.

The Central Universe, AKA Havona, serves as the grand design of existence. It is the perfect model for all Creation. It’s a universe that is replete, unlike the evolving universes that surround it. It is also the final training ground and the ultimate destination for those who ascend and seek divine perfection.

In the grand design of existence, there exists a single, unchanging universe—Havona. Unlike the evolving and imperfect cosmic realms, Havona stands eternally complete. It is a divine masterpiece, and it serves as a sanctuary, a school, and a gateway to Paradise.

Havona is also the ultimate training ground, a passageway for ascendant souls who seek wisdom and understanding. For all who journey inward from the farthest reaches of time and space, Havona brings them to the threshold of divinity.
Beyond its role as a place of spiritual growth, Havona is also the residence of divine beings. The Universal Father, the Eternal Son, and the Infinite Spirit find their home in the realm beyond Havona, but this perfect universe serves as an essential bridge between the material worlds and Paradise. It is here that celestial personalities, messengers, and teachers refine their abilities and prepare to guide the evolving universes.

Havona is unchanging. It is the cosmic anchor and steady foundation upon which all creation rests. While imperfection and uncertainty may ripple through the evolving universes, Havona is the perfect blueprint for all of them. It is an example of what creation can become when harmony and truth reign supreme.
Havona is more than a place, it’s a promise—a testament to the eternal, guiding presence of divine wisdom. It stands as a beacon for all beings who strive for perfection.

    Apr 27 2025
On this episode of The Cosmic Citizen, we continued our study of Urantia Paper 14. The Central and Divine Universe, with a reading of Section 4. Creatures of the Central Universe.

This section describes the diverse forms of life in Havona, the perfect and eternal central universe. It teaches that seven basic types of beings exist there.

Havona natives participate in the physical and spiritual economy of the divine realm. While they serve as guides and ministers to beings ascending from the superuniverses or descending from Paradise, their own existence holds intrinsic significance beyond these interactions. Their worship and devotion fulfill the ideals of divine beauty and truth, mirroring God’s will by their very nature.

In this episode we were going to continue exploring Paper 14, The Central and Divine Universe, with a discussion of Section 4. Creatures of the Central Universe. However, once we started this episode, upon refection of the Easter holiday, it was suggested that we read instead the two sections from Urantia Paper 188, from The Life and Teachings of Jesus. So that is what we did. We will pick up our study of Paper 14 on our next episode.

Here is a brief synopsis of what we studied:

Urantia Paper 14—The Central and Divine Universe—§3. The Havona Worlds

On this episode of The Cosmic Citizen, we continue exploring Urantia Paper 14, The Central and Divine Universe, with a reading of Section 3. The Havona Worlds.

This section delves into the intricate organization and purpose of the billion spheres that constitute Havona. These worlds are arranged in seven concentric circuits, each with distinct characteristics, including variations in size, composition, and function.

Each circuit is pervaded by a specialized representation of the Infinite Spirit, known as the Seven Spirits of the Circuits, which coordinate celestial affairs within their respective domains.

The Havona worlds are described as being of unimaginable beauty and grandeur, serving as a model of divine perfection for the evolutionary universes. These worlds are not evolutionary but are instead created as part of the eternal and perfect central universe.

The inhabitants of Havona are spiritually advanced beings who are perfectly attuned to the divine energies and realities of their environment.

This section emphasizes the exquisite balance, harmony, and purpose of these worlds, which serve as a training ground for all ascending beings and a source of inspiration for the Creator Sons in their work throughout the universes.

  • Urantia Paper 14—The Central and Divine Universe—§2. Constitution of Havona
    Apr 7 2025
This week on The Cosmic Citizen we continued our study of Urantia Paper 14. The Central and Divine Universe, with Section 2. Constitution of Havona.

This section explores the unique constitution of the Havona universe, which is described as a divine creation with material worlds distinct from those found in the evolutionary universes of time and space. Although Havona worlds are literal and material, their substance and energy systems differ from worlds in the superuniverses. Havona operates with a three-fold energy system that reflects the Trinity, contrasting with the twofold energy systems of local universes that are created by a Creator Son and Creative Spirit.

The inhabitants of Havona have 49 sensation responses, far surpassing the sensory capacities of mortals, morontia beings, or higher spiritual orders.

The Eternal Son's spiritual gravity actively draws all spiritual values inward to Paradise, while the Infinite Spirit's mind gravity similarly attracts intellectual values toward Deity. This divine pull inspires beings to seek God and attain spiritual realization. Those who achieve Havona are fully spiritualized and particularly responsive to these universal forces.

Havona's perfection ensures that sin, error, or disloyalty are impossible. Native beings have consistently upheld the divine will throughout eternity. Havona is a realm of divine loyalty and spiritual growth.

In essence, Havona is a unique and ideal central universe that exemplifies divine perfection in its material and spiritual constitution.
