Join this week as we chat with Highlands International teacher Douglas Vega from El Salvador and his all girl team, Adriana Panameno, Daniela Panameno, Cristina Treminio, & Elisa Walker as they prepare to present their robotic arm designed to communicate using American Sign Language at ISTE25 held in San Antonio Texas. This project uses AI to enhance the programming needed to identify, understand, and reproduce various words in sign language. I wish this team success as they continue to compete in various events in hopes of making it to Singapore for a final competition.
