They are both retired from DNR Leadership and now working to advocate for funding in the State Parks system. This year park services and staffing have been reduced due to lower reserve funds for the parks. Reports of lack of mowing, pools being closed, and even the elimination of paper maps. We talk about ways private groups can help solve the issue, and how user fees can bridge the gap. Lots of conversations about favorite parks and the impact they have on their communities.
