It also requires a humble posture toward God’s Word, allowing it to shape our lives rather than just inform our thinking. James warns that hearing without obedience leads to self-deception, but those who put God’s Word into practice experience the freedom and blessing it brings. The Bible isn’t meant only for information—it’s meant for transformation.
