About this listen

I had the honor to have a discussion with the renowned Economist Mark Thornton of the Ludwig von Mises Institute on the Austrian View of Economics. Earning a Ph.D from Auburn University, Mr. Thornton has been actively involved in the public debate over economic theory over the past several decades. In Part 2, we discuss the Austrian School's View of the Role of Government in Society. We delve into issues with democracy, the importance of a government that protects property rights, human rights, and ensures a free market, and the Gold Standard as a fixed rate of money.
