Joey encounters Detective Magritte, while Toni pressures Arthur to surrender 75% of his business to cover his debt. The season ends with Riva and Knuckles attempting to kill Joey, but are instead killed by Sadie and Leonard.

Tony Riva, a Lombardi associate, arrives at Clem's Place of Jazz and Funk to demand that Joey turn over his little black book. Riva waits while Joey and Nicky talk to Freed about his debt. Riva leaves without the book.

Detective Magritte arrives at the Brick Works, where Bianchi's body was found. Magritte ties Bianchi's murder to the murders of Momo and Louie. Meanwhile, Joey is concerned about Knuckle's loyalty, and Wolfe confronts Freed, demanding his diamonds.

Joey brokers a deal with Toni to fence the diamonds, using the proceeds to fund his operation. Lombardi demands that Joey turn over his little black book, and the diamond's owner, Oscar Wolfe, arrives in town to collect them.

At Momo's funeral, Joey meets Buffalo (Carlo Beppe Lombardi), who has taken over Momo's business. Joey coerces a club owner into selling him his business to settle a debt, establishing a new base of operations.

A week before his murder, Louie visits Arthur Freed while his wife is having a dinner party. Louie demands Freed repay his debt, but Freed doesn't have the cash, so he gives Louie the diamonds as collateral.

Joey tries to reinvent his operation with what's left of his crew after the Buffalo mob takes over Momo's operation and the police discover Bianchi's body.
