    He made a living as a "part time" hitter that came of the bench and was the back-up first baseman for the Cardinals, Nats, Braves and Rockies.

    But MATT ADAMS' impact was far greater than a bench player. In a game against the Cincinnati Reds, Matt hit a go-ahead HR in the 14th, and when the Reds tied the game, he hit ANOTHER home run in the 16th, this time to win it.

    In Game 4 of the 2014 NLDS, Matt took Clayton Kershaw deep to secure the Game 4 victory against the Dodgers, propelling the Cards into the NL Championship.

    In 2019, in only 310 at bats, Adams hit 20 HR's, which contributed mightily to the Nationals amazing season, which culminated in them winning the World Series.

    After losing 35 pounds, Big City looks more like a small town, but his stories, and his humor are as big as ever, including some hilarious golf stories.

    MATT ADAMS makes this truly one of the most entertaining episodes yet of The Approach Shot.
