The conclusion to the encounter at the well with the Samaritan woman. In this episode, Jesus is asked to stay so that the people of the town can hear him. As a result of his staying, many more believed because they heard his own words. Ask Him to stay and you too will hear his own words.

In this installment of The Appointed Encounter, we learn to see the harvest before us. We can't just focus on a harvest from our own labors in sowing, but must look to see the harvest to reap from someone else's labor. God sends us out into the field that is ripe to harvest. We need to but lift up our eyes for a different outlook.

Jesus' disciples want him to eat but he has meat that they don't know about. What is this meat? What is this encounter that gives us an opportunity to have a new meat that satisfies us?

Sometimes, we find that we have to have a new encounter with the Lord. We may walk with Him and know him well. However, we need to understand that we are not the only ones that He loves and wants to be saved. John 4:27 we read that the disciples needed just this.

Worship has to change. We can't continue to worship in this earthly realm. It must be in the Spirit, for that is what the Father desires.

In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve used fig leaves to cover up their nakedness. Jesus begins to remove the covering that the Samaritan woman used to begin to reveal truth to her. What fig leaf apron are you using to cover up?
