It could even be said this is one more way the powers that be dumb down society while simultaneously laundering money. Alfonso Laurencic used modern color and form theories to psychologically torment prisoners. In his designed cells, prisoners faced beds tilted at 20 degrees, furniture designed to induce torture, and walls covered in disorienting surrealist patterns. He modeled his torture chambers off of modern art. The same modern art we hang in our homes, hotels, doctor's offices, and schools.
