Tension is a podcast produced by the Archipelago of Design, hosted by Philippe Beaulieu-Brossard, engaging tensions in the theory and practice of design for security and defence purposes across NATO members and partners. Through engaging representatives of different positions in the Innovation Methodologies for Defence Challenges (IMDC) network, the aim is to unlock new possibilities in design as practice in the 21st century. Philippe Beaulieu-Brossard is the co-founder and co-executive president of the Archipelago of Design. He is completing a Marie S. Curie Fellowship at the Centre for Military Studies, University of Copenhagen before returning as professor leading the Design & Innovation curriculum for mid and senior level officers at Canadian Forces College (CFC) in Toronto. The Archipelago of Design aims at connecting practitioners and scholars interested in design thinking and other reflexive approaches to defence and security.
