About this listen
This week, I talk with Alice Tsui, an elementary school music teacher about her recent experience with stereotypes.
As one of the only Asian American teachers at her school, students began spreading a rumor that she had the coronavirus.
We talk about her experiences during this incident, taking music lessons as kids and being an advocate for other people.
Follow Alice Tsui on her Instagrams @musicwithmissalice and @asianamericanalice
