Tattoo 408 is finally back after a long hiatus with a very special guest: Ronita Yvarra. In this episode, Ethan sits down with Ronita to hear the story of how she went from being a teenage artist in East San Jose to one of the region’s early female tattooers. Ronita learned the craft under Chuck Marshall, a fixture in South Bay tattoo scene in the '70s and '80s. She shares vivid memories of her apprenticeship, opening her own shop in Paradise and Chico, and so much more. With humor, honesty, and deep reverence for her roots, Ronita offers a window into a lesser-known corner of San Jose’s tattoo history.
