Tatjana Schnell hat Psychologie, Theologie und Philosophie in Göttingen, London, Heidelberg und Cambridge/UK studiert, promovierte in Psychologie an der Universität Trier und habilitierte sich an der Universität Innsbruck. Die Pionierin der empirischen Sinnforschung forscht seit über 20 Jahren zu den Themen Lebenssinn, Sinn im Beruf, Umgang mit Leid und Tod, Begabung, Engagement und Weltanschauung. Gegenwärtig lehrt sie an der MF Specialized University in Oslo, Norwegen. Sie leitet seit vielen Jahren das Existential Psychology Lab und gründete die Plattform www.sinnmacher.eu.
